ULCC has a highly skilled team of specialists in Digital Archives and Repositories, with experience of many digital preservation projects in the government, education and cultural heritage sectors. We work closely with leading organisations in the digital preservation sector.
From 1997 to 2010 ULCC Digital Archives developed and managed the pioneering NDAD dataset archive for The National Archives.
We now support, develop and host digital repository services and solutions for many organisations.
Since 2005 we have run the highly-acclaimed Digital Preservation Training Programme (DPTP) and provided Web Archiving services for the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC). In 2011 we began work with an international consortium, as part of the EU FP7 funded BlogForever web archiving project.
We provide expert consultancy on a wide range of digital preservation activities, including institutional strategies, preservation assessment toolkits, metadata specifications, workflows and records management solutions.
ULCC Digital Archives and Repositories team is a full member of the Digital Preservation Coalition. and plays an active role in the digital preservation community and initiatives.
