Digital Asset Assessment Tool (DAAT)

DAAT is a JISC-funded project, operated by ULCC and the Arts and Humanities Data Service to create greater understanding of the relationship of risk, value and actions required in preserving digital assets. Aims of the project include:  

  • Producing a tool which allows institutions to assess their digital assets for preservation risk
  • Enabling institutions to assess preservation priorities
  • Producing assessment criteria for storage media and formats
  • Better understanding of the costs and benefits of specific digital preservation actions

29th September 2006: The first batch of project deliverables was published today.

17th October 2006: The final report was published today. The Report and Appendices are available on the deliverables page.

20th February 2007: The final project deliverables were published today.
