The early bird catches the worm and other news about this year's UK MoodleMoot
The first batch of early bird tickets for this year's UK Moot was released to pre-registered users four days ago and has now sold out.
We decided to offer additional early bird tickets and have just released a second batch. To book please visit our online store at http://bit.ly/mootuk11EB.
Early Bird - What's included?
The early bird ticket combines access to the 2 days of the UK Moot and a spot at the evening get together on day one; the perfect way to reflect on the day's events and mingle with fellow Moodlers.
Interesting keynotes and parallel workshops, showcasing the variety of Moodle usage from an administrative, pedagogical and technical perspective will alternate during the two day conference.
Pre-Moot Unconference
A first ever, there will also be pre-Moot developer Unconference, which provides a dynamic way of enabling participants to engage in the discussions which matter most to them. You can explore new topics, open up partnerships and engage in collaborative problem solving on the day - leaving you ready to get the most out of the Unconference itself and ask some probing questions.
Tickets for the Unconference can be booked here: http://bit.ly/MootUnConf.
Call for papers
With MoodleMoots being a way of getting members of the Moodle community together to share experience, learn new things about Moodle, and meet up face to face with their peers we invite proposals from all backgrounds and sectors to share the interesting and varied ways Moodle is put to good educational use.
To share your Moodle experience and ideas please download and complete the call for papers submission form at: http://bit.ly/mootuk11_CFP and more information can be found on: http://mootuk11.org.uk/call-for-papers.
Accommodation for MOOTUK11
We approached a number of hotels to arrange for so called concessionary rooms. This means the hotel keeps a number of rooms reserved at an agreed price for MOOTUK11 delegates. Full details can be found on the MOOTUK11 conference website: http://bit.ly/mootuk11hotels.
