The British Library is home to the world's knowledge. Their collections of over 150 million items include treasures like Shakespeare's First Folio, Magna Carta and Handel's Messiah. Together they form an essential and irreplaceable resource, underpinning society's intellectual, cultural and economic well-being.

As an early part of its mission to create a comprehensive archive of material from the .UK web domain, the British Library (BL) has been collaborating with a group of organisations to collect regular snapshots of selected websites.
